We aim to start dinner at about 7.30pm. Please come in a few minutes early to get a pre-dinner drink, smell the bread rolls baking and we can help you with the best choice of wine for the meal. Dinner will be a carefully chosen single menu, no need to worry about what to choose, we have done that for you, just relax and let the meal unfold. Occassionally the evening turns into an impromtu ceilidh but this usually depends on your enthusiasm to join in!
Call us on 01687 462667 to book in for dinner. Please call as early as possible to avoid disappointment and we can discuss the menu (which is single choice and freshly prepared daily) with you. We take bookings up until 10.00am for that evening but the more notice you can give, the more opportunity we have to tailor the menu to your preferences.
If coming by boat, please just pick up one of the blue visitors moorings located in the South West of the bay. The Dining Room is the lefthand single story building in the centre of the bay. Showers, toilets and fresh water are available for your use.
If coming by land, turn down from the road at the "Doune Here" sign and follow the path. Be careful as this can be slippy after heavy rain. The Dining Room is right down by the sea.
If you need to cancel your booking due to unseen circumstances such as exceptional weather, please let us know as soon as possible. All meals are prepared fresh, from scratch each day and the food (not to mention the effort) will be wasted if you can't make it. We look forward to welcoming you to enjoy the Doune Dining Experience.
