We will collect you from Mallaig in one of our own boats. Cross the water and enter a different world.
A holiday at Doune is unlike any other. Mountains, wildlife, tranquillity, stunning sunsets and of course the amazing food all combine for a unique adventure and enduring memories.
Remote and peaceful, set amongst the magnificent coastal scenery of the Scottish Highlands, Doune is on the Western shore of the Knoydart peninsula - one of Europe's last wild places.
Doune is refreshingly different. You will find a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, as much help and advice as you need to get the most out of your stay and lots of personal touches. Accommodation prices include bed, breakfast, packed lunch and dinner in the award winning Doune Dining Room.
All our accommodation is thoughtfully designed and fitted out in pine in our own individual style.
Doune Stone Lodges are separate ensuite rooms while just around the bay Doune Bay Lodge offers accommodation for up to 12. To find out which will suit you best, follow the links on the left.
For 2013 we will be open from Saturday 6th April to Saturday 28th September.
So that our boats are available for our guests to take trips during their visit, we keep our changeovers to Saturdays and Tuesdays only. Holidays can be 3, 4 or 7 nights or longer.
If you already know us and what you want, here are our 2013 prices and booking conditions.
