Stays at Doune start and end on Tuesdays and Saturdays, enabling a 3, 4 or 7 night stay (or longer).
When checking availability please ensure your arrival and departure dates are a Tuesday or a Saturday.

At present we still have good availability for dates through the 2026 season (April – September).

We’re off grid with no road vehicle access, the only way in or out is by sea or on foot. We’re remote,  but not isolated, operating our boat to transport our guests the 40 minutes by sea from Mallaig.

We’re the choice for hikers, climbers, kayakers, wildlife lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, artists, crafters, foodies and many looking to simply sit back and relax.

Fresh air and stunning views, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Walk in the afternoon sun, relax with hot tea and scones and enjoy home cooked, freshly prepared food, drinks and lots of memories to cherish.

Doune Knoydart’s four rooms are perfect for couples, friends travelling together, families and solo travellers. Three of our en suite rooms, can be made up with either a Super king sized bed or twin beds and have a mezzanine deck with two single mattresses.

Our Old Bothy room is also en suite and is great for couples and solo travellers.

Doune Knoydart is available for exclusive use whether you are planning a family gathering, a get together with friends or a unique venue for corporate team building.

With the shore on your doorstep and uninterrupted views to the Skye Cuillin, we offer a location and experience unlike any other.
